Nevsehir Haci Bektas Veli University Distance Education Application and Research Center (NUZEM), was founded in 2013 with the aim of contributing to the studies of research, improvement and application based on communication, internet and information technologies, also to the improvement of distance education systems; and with the aim of doing interdisciplinary studies about the subject.
Our center provides the necessary techniques and support in order to maintain the courses healthily.
Our Technical Basis
In our center there are 5 studios, that teachers can use effectively, designed to give the live courses, and have high speed internet connection.
In order to follow education activities, we use Enocta Academic Education Platform(EAEP) as Teaching Management System (ÖYS). In the system, accounts can be opened up to 10.000 users in total.
You can share course materials, open cyber classes, apply a survey, communicate with other users on ÖYS. It works in perfect harmony with cyber class softwares, and supports distance education content standards such as AICC, SCORM1.2, SCORM2004. In ÖYS, courses are supported with nonsyncronous materials.These materials are enriched using HTML, Javascript Technologies. Also flash-based contents are developed using Adobe Captivate program.
Adobe Connect program is used as the cyber class software.In the cyber class application, at most 5 cyber classes can be opened at the same time. In our cyber classes there is a quota of 150 users.
We have the sufficient net system for the efficient use of all these systems, and our internet connection speed is 150 Mbit/second.
